30% mo' money!

My bank has ads in the statements... like 'Get a $25 gift card for $20' (20% off).
Since the motor rebuild is really just a clean/inspect from this point on I needed a few gallons of mineral spirits (cuts the grime quick).
2 gallons are $13 each, $28 with tax. Use the $25 gift card and 10% off for any vet at any time (Lowes/Home Depot always give 10% off to vets with ID) that saves me 30%.
$28 - 10% ($2.80) = $25.20 - $5 (what I saved from the gift card) = $20.20.
$28/$20 = 30%
I could have gotten a third gallon for the price of two.
I will save even more with the Advance Auto deal - 20% off plus a $50 coupon good off next purchase of $100 (a 50% savings!)
Clutch kit was $148.39 (free shipping, includes tax. Originally would be $185.13 w/tax) so I saved 24% ($36.74) AND my next order will be $50 off (being a tight ass with money I will buy something as close to the $100 minimum as possible to maximize the discount.
People wonder how I have so much stuff to do.... rule #1 Make your money go as ffaaarrrrr as possible. I
