What does barn fresh mean, it it supposed to be new or smell like a barn. Does one need a shovel? I saw that a person found a barn fresh deuce and was wondering what to believe.

In this part of the country "barn fresh" simply idicates that the vehicle in question has for at least part of it's life been stored inside, "in a barn". That is not meant to indicate pristine condition, but rather that it has not been parked outside, in the trees, left to the ravages of mother nature...

This is certainly not a clinical definition!

Got impression it meant gas and battery iwas all that was needed. I wish I could find a barn like that. I have been looking around for running WWII truck on old farms for years, and have not found a runner yet. I don't want a deuce that has been altered like the ones from overseas.
