The Girl who Leapt through Time

Another movie anime that's given high marks... another anime that gets a C. It's OK, the plot is easy to follow and is along the lines of a school days/romance but as 90% of the anime Japan puts out is completely unresolved and ends with the leads ending on a wimper rather than a bang. I mean the last thing the time traveling Chiaki says to Makoto is 'I'll be waiting for you'.. what the actual fuck, Japan? Dude is from the distant future that has the technology to travel though time and Makoto is supposed to bolt on the chastity belt and wait for the second coming of Chiaki???

I get it... Asians like to have the open ended, leave it to your imagination type endings (watch some Chinese/Korean/Japanese drama on t.v. and you'll see that this is just the way the like their stories to end... open with lose strings). But I'm quirky, I want a beginning, middle AND END to a story. Silly me.

The animation is average, the music is well done and English dub is good.

Stream it, I wouldn't pay to watch it... its a typical anime with the typical problems.
