Brake line hoses... best deal.
Posted: Sun Mar 31, 2013 6:39 amEvery place I looked was selling the rubber brake line hoses (the hose that jumps from the frame to the axle) at over $20-30 PER HOSE. That's $60-90 for a G506 plus shipping.
Since I have 2 G506s and a CCKW that's 12 hoses, or over $360 at vendor prices. Way to much money.
On ebay there is a seller luchonota that advertise brake lines for G506/CCKWs. A 3 hose kit, delivered, is $40 for a G506. A CCKW hose kit is $70, delivered.
My last order was for 9 hoses (1 set for the Chevy, one set for the CCKW) and total cost, delivered was $105. That's just over $11 per hose.
