Would you pat 50% shipping?

Was about to pull the trigger for seat covering material from Jim Carter Truck Parts... well, until I saw their shipping charges:

$23 dollars shipping for $55 in parts.

NO FRACKING WAY.

Will be going to Harrisburg to get what I need.

Did you call to verify the shipping, or is that just what their website said?

That's what they would charge the card for at checkout. Just underneath the image that I cropped was the 'I Authorize' button. If they need more, they will hold the shipment and await authorization.

I'll get that rubber gasket off ebay, or wait till a Chevy vendor shows up at one of the AACA events in Hershey. There is simply no way shipping that gasket should cost $10.

I found a shop about an hours drive. Got everything I needed plus some advice and a source for getting the CCKW doors covered. She does vintage cars all the time so having all the period correct items for seats is not a problem.
