I had gotten a set of the new 'open end on one side, boxed end ratchet on the other side' Kobalt branded ratchet set last year.. it was a special set that was only $25-ish but it did not have the ability to angle the ratchet end. They work well, but I wanted a flex head set.. and all the 'name brands were in the $75+ range... way to much to duplicate all the other wrenches and ratchets I already own.
So enter Harbor Freight 5 Piece SAE Flex-Head Combo Wrench Set Pittsburgh - item#60591
Normally $39.99 on sale for $29.99 but only $24 with the 20% off coupon. So I snagged a set. For the less than $5 per wrench its a great deal. Fit and finish is good and the ratchet is smooth (72 tooth - 5 degree per click). I've used it on some small items and the ability to angle the head is really a great benefit. The kobalt set I have is not flexible and in the places you can get them, they work great, but with the HF set you can get into a lot more areas.
Given the chance to do it all over again I would say spend the extra funds and get the flex head ratchets.... they are so much more useful.
