So I get a good deal on a new Epiphone Les Paul Special II in 'Wine' Costs me $179.99

So THE NEXT DAY it goes on an even DEEPER price cut.. another $10 off:

Call the GC I bought it from and ask for the price match.. was told I had to bring the reciept to the store. I explained that I lived over an hour away in Gordon near Pottsville and the guy on the phone (luckily) new how far away that is... so he 'spoke to is manager' and approved the price match over the phone.. $10.60 back in my pocket.

To date I've gotten over $26 dollars back due to sales/price match (not counting all the savings from regular sales and buying used pedals/amps). Not sure why GC get a bad rap.. sure, salesmen are salesmen but good service is good service.

Since I already had one price match ($10) they 'returned' my guitar, then sold it to me again for $99.. so technically I paid $105 for it, but still its a kick ass guitar!
